Duties
Manage all phases of construction projects, ensuring compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and laborers on the construction site.
Oversee the installation of various materials, including framing, flooring, trim carpentry, plaster, stucco, and electrical components.
Utilize power tools and heavy equipment safely and effectively during the construction process.
Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and address any issues that arise.
Maintain clear communication with clients regarding project updates, timelines, and changes.
Prepare project schedules and budgets while ensuring efficient resource allocation.
Ensure quality control throughout the construction process by conducting inspections at various stages.
Requirements
Proven experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
Strong knowledge of frame carpentry, flooring installation, trim carpentry, plastering, stucco work, and electrical systems.
Proficiency in operating power tools and heavy equipment safely.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with clients, subcontractors, and team members.
Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
Familiarity with local building codes and regulations is preferred.
