Responsibilities:
- Oversee all warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, picking,
packing, and shipping of products
- Develop and implement warehouse policies and procedures to ensure optimal
efficiency and productivity
- Manage inventory levels and ensure accurate stock counts
- Coordinate with procurement team to ensure timely delivery of materials and
supplies
- Implement lean principles and continuous improvement initiatives to
streamline warehouse processes
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for
improvement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize supply chain management
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized
work environment
- Supervise warehouse staff, providing guidance, training, and performance
feedback
Skills:
- Proven experience in warehouse management, preferably in a fast-paced
environment
- Strong knowledge of materials management, supply chain management, and
transportation management systems (TMS)
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to effectively manage a team and foster a positive work environment
- Budgeting skills to manage warehouse expenses and optimize profitability
- Strong analytical skills to identify areas for process improvement
