Duties:

  • Manage all aspects of accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger accounting.

  • Oversee cash management processes and maintain effective budgeting practices.

  • Conduct balance sheet reconciliation and account analysis to ensure financial integrity.

  • Prepare regulatory reports and manage technical accounting functions as required.

  • Perform month-end closing process, recording journal entries and preparing accurate monthly and annual financial statements ensuring compliance with (GAAP)

  • Prepare supporting documents and requests for the completion of tax returns as required by external CPA audit firm.

  • Monitor cash and manage payables to enhance cash flow and vendor relationships

  • Ensure the company is compliant with all federal, state and local regulations

  • Analyze, consolidate and direct all cost accounting procedures together with other statistical and routine reports

  • Build and maintain relationships with banks and lenders

  • Monitor inventory levels and inventory cycle counting program including measurement of obsolete inventory

  • Review commission reports and validate payment to reps

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting/ finance is required, CPA or equivalent certification preferred.

  • 5+ years' experience in manufacturing

  • Strong knowledge of cash management, budgeting, and financial concepts.

  • Excellent analytical skills with a focus on account reconciliation and financial analysis.

  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities and able to manage tasks to meet deadlines and expectations with minimal supervision.

  • Proficient in financial software, such as ERP systems, (Made to Manage and Odoo helpful), Microsoft excel and a solid understanding of database concepts.
