Duties:
Manage all aspects of accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger accounting.
Oversee cash management processes and maintain effective budgeting practices.
Conduct balance sheet reconciliation and account analysis to ensure financial integrity.
Prepare regulatory reports and manage technical accounting functions as required.
Perform month-end closing process, recording journal entries and preparing accurate monthly and annual financial statements ensuring compliance with (GAAP)
Prepare supporting documents and requests for the completion of tax returns as required by external CPA audit firm.
Monitor cash and manage payables to enhance cash flow and vendor relationships
Ensure the company is compliant with all federal, state and local regulations
Analyze, consolidate and direct all cost accounting procedures together with other statistical and routine reports
Build and maintain relationships with banks and lenders
Monitor inventory levels and inventory cycle counting program including measurement of obsolete inventory
Review commission reports and validate payment to reps
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting/ finance is required, CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
5+ years' experience in manufacturing
Strong knowledge of cash management, budgeting, and financial concepts.
Excellent analytical skills with a focus on account reconciliation and financial analysis.
Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities and able to manage tasks to meet deadlines and expectations with minimal supervision.
Proficient in financial software, such as ERP systems, (Made to Manage and Odoo helpful), Microsoft excel and a solid understanding of database concepts.
