Responsibilities of the PCA/HHA:
Must be willing and able to transport self to client's residence
Provide basic personal care
Meal Preparation
Medication reminders
Assist with mobility; in and out of bed, chairs, bathroom, etc
Light housekeeping to maintain a clean environment
Assist in personal grooming, bathing, dental hygiene, etc
Qualifications of the PCA's/HHA's:
At least 18 years of age
Either a PCA or HHA certification, we have non-certified positions as well.
A personal vehicle is a must
Be compassionate and caring toward the elderly or disabled client
Ability to carry out verbal and written directions and follow the care plan
