Job Duties:
- Implements the sales activities within all market
segments to achieve budgeted goals.
- Solicits, evaluates, sells, and confirms business to
meet overall assigned market segment’s budgeted sales and profit margin.
- Creates and distributes in-house advertising and
promotional campaigns.
- Maintains hotel competitive analysis statistical
information.
- Coordinates with various departments the activities
related to booked business to ensure customer satisfaction and property
profit.
- Maintains effective plan of correspondence.
- Maintains current recordkeeping system and prepares
reports (Sales Call Reports, Internal Sales Reports, etc.)
- Participates in ongoing education and training of
Franchise and Hotel Management Company.
- Additional duties may be added at any time at the
discretion of management.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years sales experience in the hospitality
industry.
- Excellent customer service.
- Ability to Multi-task.
- Proven record of successful Proactive Sales Effort.
- Experience & Strong reputation in the business
community of the local market.
- Previous Hotel Sales experience preferred.
Additional Skills:
- Ability to communicate effectively in written form and
verbally both over the phone and in person.
- Ability to learn the current market and analyze STAR
report for trends.
