Responsibilities
· ensure
that grants are spent properly and within the specified timeframes;
· complete budget reporting, and coordinate
narrative reporting, and submit reports timely;
· compile and submit timely requests for
payment for reimbursable grants;
· ensure State Financial Services
System/Grants Gateway information is correctly submitted;
· assist program managers with developing
grant-specific budgets that conform to the organizational budget, and
coordinate with subcontracted agencies;
· draft organizational budget in consultation
with program managers, executive director, and director of operations;
· monitor Salesforce data for compliance with
organizational policies and grant reporting needs;
· develop and review reports in Salesforce;
· review and pay invoices, properly allocating
to grant sources; receive and allocate payments;
· maintain grant contracts and related files;
· maintain finance policy and procedures
manual;
· coordinate annual audit and submission of
Form 990 and Char-500; and
· perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
· Deep understanding of grant accounting using
QuickBooks or equivalent experience with for-profit job costing procedures.
· Excellent organizational skills with
attention to accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
· Strong collaboration, cooperation and
interpersonal skills within a diverse organization serving diverse populations.
· Bachelor's degree preferred, master's degree in accounting, business, public administration, or related field strongly preferred.
