Responsibilities
- Lead successful outcomes for
both large and small projects
- Develop scopes of services,
project work plans, schedules, and budgets
- Guide technical investigations,
studies of design options, and alternative reports
- Oversee design work, ensuring
the timely delivery of contract plans, specifications, and bid estimates
within budget
- Ensure adherence to proper
codes and standards, conducting thorough reviews and detailed checks
- Mentor and supervise mid-level
and junior engineers, along with technicians
- Provide supervision and
direction to sub-consultants
- Manage projects, being
accountable for meeting technical excellence objectives, financial
performance goals, and timely delivery of all contract obligations
- Client management
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Civil
Engineering from an accredited college or university
- Registered Professional
Engineer in the state of New York
- 10-15 years of successful
design experience in highway and other public works and utility design
projects, including project management
- Strong communication skills
- Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D
and Microsoft Office software
- Optional: Experience with
MicroStation and/or Open Roads
- Optional: Expertise in Green Infrastructure modeling
