We are recruiting for a Customer Service Rep.  This role Ensures accurate, timely and efficient order management for all customers. Supports the assigned Sales Director by providing accurate and timely communication with customers. Provides administrative support for Sales Directors as needed.  Coleman Natural provides all-natural products that are antibiotic and growth hormone free, vegetarian fed, and humanely raised in the USA. 


This position has a target wage of $22 - $25 per hour and is eligible for comprehensive benefits, as well as relocation support, as applicable.

Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assists Sales Directors with completion of administrative forms, promotion requests and other tasks as requested.
  • Maintains assigned customer files to ensure accuracy of contact information and price levels.
  • Obtains all orders before order deadlines.
  • Enters orders, ensuring accuracy of item codes, case quantities, prices, ship-to location and ship dates before order deadlines.
  • Verifies accuracy of order with customer by providing order confirmation no later than COB the day after order is received. Notifies customer in writing of any inaccuracies on their purchase order.
  • Monitors order patterns and assist customers with their ordering process.
  • Communicates deviations from order quantities, prices or delivery dates to customers in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintains regular contact with assigned sales directors and accounts.
  • When asked by Manager, Sales Director or Sales Manager, call accounts to sell long and close-dated product.

Minimum Education and Experience Required

High school or equivalent

  • Experience in customer service related activities
  • Experience working in a retail or wholesale company environment strongly preferred
  • Must be able to prioritize in order to complete all tasks within the allotted timeframe
  • Must exhibit politeness, confidence, tact, patience, and diplomacy while dealing with complex problems
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel

Experience Preferred

Experience working in a retail or wholesale company environment strongly preferred

Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements

Normal heated/ventilated office environment.  May be occasionally subject to plant conditions (temperatures range from 28 – 50 degrees).  Constant interruptions are normal.  Some travel may be required.
