Summary
To assist the department supervisor in the daily operations coordinating the workforce and ensuring a safe and productive work environment. Hours are generally 7:30a-5:30p.
Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- To perform all positions within the department as outlined in the job description in order to relieve associates as necessary.
- To direct the workforce within the department in order to ensure all positions are filled according to daily production needs and standards.
- To coordinate the rotation schedule every two hours to meet OSHA safety requirements and to ensure that all Perdue safety policies are adhered to.
- Take an active role in training new hires in order, that they meet departmental job requirements and are working as a team to meet departmental goals.
- Verify totes are being weighed correctly, no short weights or over weights.
- Play active role in sending out A-Grade product to meet and/or exceed our customers satisfaction.
Minimum Education
HS Diploma or GED Preferred but not required
Experience Requirements
Looking for at least 6 months of departmental experience.
Experience Preferred
Looking for at least 6 months of leadership experience.
Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements
Able to work in temperatures ranging from 32-60 degrees Fahrenheit with ambient humidity, noise exposure of 91.0db, PAA exposure of 0.2 PPM Must wear personal protective equipment correctly at all times.
