Key Account Manager& Field Sales Manager (Helsinki, FI)

Our colleagues in the Sales team are looking for a new Key Account Manager
& Field Sales Manager to handle one of Finland’s largest customer Kesko and a team of Field Sales Managers. Role is based from Espoo, Finland and it is hybrid, max 50% working from home.
As we’re putting our hearts and souls into the future of food, we’ll be looking at you to build profitable Kellogg volume (Ready to eat cereals and Snacks) and market share within assigned Key Account portfolio.

 

HERE'S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Establish account/brand specific objectives for distribution, volume, and profitability. Develop and implement account specific strategies and ensure that objectives are met.
  • Develop, implement and follow up on profitable general and account specific trade campaigns. 
  • Manage a team of 6 field sales reps: set annual and campaign targets, develop selling skills and coach team members regularly to build a winning team at the field
  • Ensure optimal information flow to and coordination with the Business Unit Manager, National Account Manager, Sales Coordinator and Field Sales Reps on all Key Account activities.
  • Monitor and evaluate customer development, market conditions and competitive activities keeping the Business Unit Manager advised. If negative deviation or sudden opportunities become apparent, to propose and obtain approval for actions securing Company objectives.
  • Develop and implement a trade program that is competitive and equitable among Key Account, and which will ensure an optimal return on the Company’s investments.
  • Initiate, build and maintain strong business relations with the assigned Key Account counterparts.
  • Actively utilize category management tool in order to build compelling sales story to the trade partner and to the field sales.
  • Participate in the preparation of Annual Budget and short-term estimates. The job holder has sole responsibility for the Customer Trade Allowance budget. When deviations occur, it is the responsibility of the job holder to keep the Business Unit Manager informed and to prepare and implement plans for corrective action.
  • To ensure that the Company philosophy and K-Values as well as Company policies and procedures are adhered to.
  • Actively seek for new business growth opportunities
     

YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS

  • Minimum education BBA level (bachelor’s in business) or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 Years of sales experience - of which 3 years of sales experience in FMCG environment and most likely also KAM experience
  • Fluent Finish & English language skills
  • Experience in using Analyse2 database
  • In-depth knowledge of sales related issues
  • Strong IT skills
  • Driving license
  • In-depth knowledge of Finnish trade structure and retail partners
  • Team-player
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills and understanding of the business drivers
  • Good understanding of trade marketing, category management principles and preferably brand marketing
